Strategy

Offshore Marketers devised a comprehensive SEO strategy that included keyword optimization, aggressive bidding, unique content creation, and targeted ad copy based on search queries. The campaigns were traditionally running and often exhausted early in the day, before most people in the area were awake. Offshore Marketers seized the opportunity to optimize campaign scheduling, add additional keywords, and aggressively bid on competitive keywords.

Budget

The budget for this six-month campaign was set at $15,000, allocated strategically across several critical activities to ensure comprehensive coverage and maximum impact. This budget encompassed a range of essential components, including in-depth keyword research, which was vital for identifying high-value terms that would drive targeted traffic. Content creation and ad development were also key focus areas, ensuring that all materials were engaging, relevant, and aligned with the campaign's objectives. Additionally, a portion of the budget was dedicated to meticulous campaign management, which included ongoing optimization efforts, performance monitoring, and adjustments based on real-time data and insights. Despite the constraints of the budget, our strategic allocation and effective management of these resources enabled us to deliver substantial improvements in online visibility, lead generation, and overall campaign performance.

Optimizations

In our PPC campaign, we implemented several strategic optimizations to enhance performance. For click optimization, we refined the match types of keywords to focus on more precise search queries and crafted compelling, targeted ad copy specifically tailored to plumbing customers in the San Francisco Bay Area. These adjustments resulted in a remarkable 400% increase in the number of clicks generated from the PPC ads. Additionally, to boost the click-through rate (CTR), we concentrated on improving quality scores by aligning ad copy and keywords more closely with the searchers’ intent and goals. We also targeted landing pages with a higher likelihood of driving conversions. These efforts led to a significant 105% improvement in the number of clicks generated from the PPC ads. Overall, these optimizations significantly enhanced the effectiveness of our PPC campaign, driving more relevant traffic and improving engagement with the ads.

THE RESULTS

To enhance the efficiency of our PPC campaign, we focused on cost per click (CPC) optimization and average position improvements. We aggressively lowered both first-page and minimum bids while identifying effective keywords with more affordable estimated costs per click. These strategic adjustments resulted in a notable 30% reduction in the cost per click. Additionally, we optimized the average position of the ads by improving the quality scores of the campaign’s keywords. This involved increasing click-through rates, ensuring better relevance of keywords to their respective ad groups, enhancing landing page relevance, and refining ad text to align more closely with user intent. These improvements led to a better average position for the ads, which in turn increased both the number of clicks and conversions for the client.
